Family Fun Camping Trips
One of the greatest experiences for family bonding is a camping trip. By leaving all the electronics at home for a few days, you and your family are forced to spend time getting to know one another once again.
While a camping trip can be a lot of work it can also be a lot of fun. Cooking over a campfire or even with a camp stove is quite different than using the microwave at home. The results may be quite different than the microwave stuff you cook at home. Maybe you will discover you really like the taste of food that is cooked over a real fire. Since there is not a dishwasher, you will have to wash some dishes by hand even if you choose to use disposable forks and plates.
There will be plenty of time for nature walks while camping. If you walk quietly, you will be able to see many different wild animals along the way. Even if the kids are too noisy and scare the animals away, take time to enjoy the beautiful plants and wild flowers you will see on those hikes. Be sure that you breathe in all the fresh air you can.
In the evenings after dinner you can play family games by the lantern light or someone can pull out a guitar and your campsite can lead the campground in your favorite campfire songs.
That sounds like such fun, perhaps you should stop reading right now and get online to make your reservation right now. Stop reading and go on. Get 'er done.
Now that we have cleared out that crowd, here is some more information for the rest of us. If that trip sounds exactly why you have quit camping, listen to this. Many camping locations have electrical hookups. You will find plenty of power to keep all your favorite electronics charged and to keep the kids happy. If you do not want to cook, you can Mickey D' a few blocks down the road so that you do not have to worry about paper plates, forks or clean up.
We do have one request. Do not let your neighbors in the campground know that you brought all the conveniences. They think you are roughing it just like they are.
