A great collector's piece for all New York Islanders fans! Jean-Paul Parise played for a number of different teams in his NHL career, but the bulk of his career was played with the Minnesota North Stars. In total, Parise played 890 games in the NHL, scoring 238 goals and 356 assists for 594 points. His best season statistically was the 1972-73 season, when he scored 27 goals and 75 points. Parise was also an important member of the early New York Islanders teams in the mid 1970s, and he is warmly remembered by many Islander fans for scoring the goal 11 seconds into overtime to defeat their cross-town rivals, the New York Rangers, in game three of the best of three opening playoff series following the 1974-75 campaign.
