Camping is entertainment and something that people of all ages can do. Lying under the stars, sitting around a campfire listening to the crickets chirping and birds singing is a peaceful and serene feeling. Camping also has many perks such as being inexpensive.

Retail stores, outdoor stores and camping stores are all alike they seem to have an endless selection of camping gear so how do you know what to buy and what to leave on the shelf? It is up to you as the consumer to  decide on what accessories and gear that you would like or how much you want to spend.

I can't wait to hit the trails and climb the mountains! I mean I like to go all out and scale those fierce rock walls with just some chalk on my hands and no safety cables whatsoever. Okay, you caught me; I'm lying. Hey, this isn't Cliffhanger you know. Anyway, I really do like to hit that wilderness scene for a fun weekend of camping, hiking and lounging by the fire ring. There's just something relaxing about crickets chirping at night and the bright moon washing over my face. Not a car in sight for miles; no chaos of crowds and pitter-patter of marching feet. Yes sir, that visit with Mother Nature is often much needed. So, have you taken any good camping adventures lately? Although a camping trip can be one of the most enjoyable outdoor activities, your weekend getaway has to end at some point. And that can only indicate one thing - your fun outdoor escapade is almost over. But before you abandon the comforting sound of crickets and head back to the city, there are some things you need to do to make certain your camping trip does not end on an unpleasant note.

To begin, be sure that your camping gear has been stowed away. Try to have some rags or a whisk broom available to clean off your gear while you pack it up. Hopefully your camping gear was in order before you left the house, so make an effort to keep it that way while you are on your trip. Also, try to keep your dirty clothing in a separate bag so that they are ready to throw in the washer when you get home.
