Camping Lovers Guide

We all enjoy camping out under the stars and pale moon. Am I right or am I right? There's not a human being alive that doesn't adore a good bout with Mother Nature. Just lounging by the campfire, singing a tune and soaking up the peace and quiet. Alright, I admit that there may be a few folks that don't enjoy the outdoors. As for the rest of us, we need that relaxing break from the real world chaos and stress. And with the right outdoor camping equipment, a trip up into the wilderness can be an utter blast. Everyone get your tents, sleeping bags, and flashlights ready; we're headed outdoors.

Less than a month ago I was camping in a nearby woods with my daughter. She was the only one of my family members I could get to go with me. Fortunately she loved the experience. We're lucky to have a friend that owns a large portion of land, because he lets us camp on it whenever we please. Now, you may be wondering why we ventured out into the bush during the winter season.

Several of my extended cousins are in the process of planning a family reunion. The reunion is going to be for multiple generations and will involve over 550 people. Las Vegas was chosen as the sight for this large gathering for several reasons. The main reason is that it is centrally located to the majority of the family members. Another is that there are so many accommodations to choose from in a wide range of prices. Due to the amount of coordinating this event is going to take I volunteered to help with the planning. We decided that the best way to approach planning this event is to divide up the tasks. I was given the task of listing sites for Las Vegas camping. We decided to add this option because several family members have recreational vehicles and this would provide them an opportunity to camp to and from the actual reunion. Also there are a number of cousins that are bringing several children and this is a more affordable option.

Camping is fun, exciting, and full of adventures. Many people choose to go for camping trips for their vacations. After every trip, they would feel delighted, relaxed and recharged. Although you can choose to go for a camping trip alone, it will certainly be more enjoyable if you go with a group of people and share the experience with them.

Through out our life's we are met with various emergencies and lately these emergency situations and disasters have escalated to great proportions. For this reason many families are now aware of the dangers that await them during a disaster. The country has been hit severely with cruel weather the past few years with hurricane Katrina and the California fires making the top of the list. During these times a lot of citizens lost their homes and were forced to move away from their residences to safer locations. These locations didn't always have the best sanitation and comfort. Usually emergency camping kits maybe acquired or compiled using many simple methods. And the first step towards this plan is to have a discussion with family members and draw out a plan. Then the emergency camping kits of each individual in the family should be formulated and packed accordingly to fulfill each persons needs at a time of emergency. For example the smallest kid in the family shouldn t carry too much weight or objects that might be of higher responsibility. The head of the family should carry the most important load. And each member should carry proper identification.
