If you frequently backpack in lousy weather you'll want to pay special consideration to waterproofing characteristics.  Tub floors are when the floor is attached to the sides of the tent.  The seams when they attach don't lay on the terrain, so they're much more waterproof then tents with floor and wall seams that sit within the ground.  Sealed seams are an additional waterproofing function.   Often the seams are fastened together, yet that leaves small needle holes that allow dampness.  This is why sealing the seams is incredibly important.  Another weather consideration may be the color of the tent.  Lighter colors will reflect heat and retain the tent cooler during warm months, while darker colors absorb the heat throughout cold months.

If you haven't considered Oregon camping you really should. There are so many great options and locations in this state. You'll find beautiful areas in the central part of the state and of course coastal camping along one of Oregon's fabulous beaches.
