Make sure you have the strongest reason for complain and also that you file it at the right the place. If you realize that the situation is good for complain, take notes of it. Write down all the basic information such as flight number, airport and all your travel records. Mention all directly relevant things which are related to your situations. If you lost something from your luggage, then you have to provide all the details of that are associated with the lost bag. You have to always stick to the factual, relevant and information that could verify your complaint.

You can send your complain through a letter or by e-mail but make sure it has all the information like email address, fax number, telephone number etc. Limit your initial message to few hundred words. Include all information in it. State something you lost due to that problem. If necessary provide copies of certain documents.
